I try to play—always. I work at a conceptual and theoretical level, aiming to ope/n.

OPE, to me, is the root of open: a way of creatively unfolding things. I believe nothing is ever created from scratch—we only open up what already exists, through understanding. All my creative acts stem from this desire to open and understand.

I'm a wannabe of surreal thinking, constantly trying to loosen the grip of heavy theoretical constraints. I’m addicted to ope—a personal practice of relaxing responsibilities and reopening possibilities.

I mostly spend my time in my office at Mardin Artuklu University, though these days I’m working from home in Mardin.

I'm currently open to research and design projects that explore collective life. I'm also always glad for happy accidents that spark unexpected collaborations.
